An injured man has been taken to hospital after being discovered lying in a field on the side of Co Antrim Road early Monday morning.
Investigators in Northern Ireland appealed for information after the injured man was found on the Lesnamuriken Road outside Pruzehan.
He had sustained a number of injuries and was treated at the scene by NIAS staff before being taken to hospital where his condition was described as serious, Belfast Live reports.
PSI Detective Sgt. Rachel Gardiner said: «Investigators are investigating the link between this incident and an accident on Dori Road in Balimina where a silver-colored Volvo was discovered in flames shortly before 7am.
“Investigators are working to establish the circumstances of this incident and appeal to anyone who was in the Lisnamurrikin Road area of Broughshane late last night or early this morning, the Doury Road area or Ballymena and who witnessed any vehicles or people to contact in Ballymena on 101 transfers.
