The fall of Afghanistan has led to the terrorists arriving in billions of pounds worth of weapons, some of which could soon turn against us.

Four years ago, the United States gave Afghan forces 208 aircraft and 75,000 vehicles, including 4,700 Humvees.

Much of this deadly equipment is now in Taliban hands.

Also added to their arsenal – many of which will find their way to al-Qaeda or the Islamic State – were 20,000 grenades, 7,000 machine guns and close to a million assault rifles.

These M4 and MI6 rifles are more lethal than the AK47 rifles usually used by jihadists and can be reversed to produce more.
